AI Summary

Digipreneur Network is built to narrow the “exposure gap” by bringing global ideas into a Caribbean context—so people can actually see options, then test and decide what fits their lives and markets. It connects the work across articles, video, and Digipreneur FM, while keeping a clear lens on technology, AI, digital business, careers, skills, and everyday digital life.

Key Moments

Use the exposure gap idea to evaluate real options

Treat the distance between what exists and what people have encountered as a barrier, and once an option is visible, test it to see if it works locally.

Translate global models using Caribbean context

Don’t assume a model that works elsewhere will fit; examine who can use it, what it costs, and which assumptions change when you bring it home.

Follow one hub across formats to keep conversations going

Use Digipreneur Network as a shared home for articles, videos, media appearances, and the Digipreneur FM podcast so ideas can continue beyond the first place you found them.

Pitch stories so builders across the Caribbean shape the next phase

Share relevant experiences, businesses, or changes people should understand via “Pitch a Story” to widen the conversation and help grow the platform toward expert contributors.

I built Digipreneur Network around a belief: the Caribbean’s future becomes more open when we can see more of the world.

There are ideas, technologies and business models changing how people work, earn and live. Yet hearing about a trend is only the beginning. We also need to understand what it could mean for us, where it might fit and what stands in the way.

That is the work I want this platform to do. Bring the wider world into view, put it in Caribbean context and help people ask better questions about their own possibilities.

Why the exposure gap matters

When I talk about an exposure gap, I mean the distance between what exists and what people have had a fair chance to encounter. You cannot weigh an option you have never seen. It is hard to imagine a different path when every example around you points in the same direction.

For example, a business owner may know how to sell locally without ever seeing a model that serves customers across borders. A creator may have an audience but little exposure to ways of building a business around that work. Meanwhile, someone with a useful skill may not know how people elsewhere turn that skill into a career.

Exposure does not remove every barrier. Payments, access, costs and local conditions still matter. However, it gives us a starting point. Once we know an option exists, we can begin to examine it, test it and decide whether it makes sense.

Global ideas need Caribbean context

My curiosity has always stretched beyond a single tool or platform. I want to understand how the pieces connect: technology, business, culture, work and the choices people make about their lives.

Living in Asia while continuing to work with Caribbean clients and audiences has given that curiosity another vantage point. It creates room to notice different systems, habits and ways of doing business. Then comes the question I keep returning to: what can we learn from this?

A model that works elsewhere will not automatically work in Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica or another Caribbean market. So the job is to examine the context. Who can use the service? What does it cost? Which assumptions change when we bring the idea home?

I want the stories here to make those questions easier to explore. The aim is a wider view, paired with enough context to form your own judgment.

Digipreneur Network brings the work together

If you have followed my work, you may have encountered it in different places. Perhaps through The Digital World, a CNC3 television conversation, my writing in the Jamaica Observer or T&T Guardian, or an episode of Digipreneur FM.

Digipreneur Network is the hub that connects those parts. It gives the articles, videos, media appearances and podcast a shared home, so a conversation can continue beyond the place where you first found it.

You can explore the media side of the network, then spend more time with an idea through Digipreneur FM. My background in digital business and strategy helps explain the perspective behind the work.

The formats serve different moments. An article gives you something to read and revisit. Video can make an unfamiliar idea more visible. The podcast allows space to follow a thought, question an assumption and sit with a subject for longer.

Launch update: Digipreneur Network on CNC3

Digipreneur Network was officially announced on CNC3’s The Morning Brew during the Digipreneur segment on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

Watch the conversation below to hear the story behind the network and what it sets out to bring to the Caribbean’s digital future.

What you can expect here

The coverage will move across technology, AI, digital business, the creator economy, careers, skills and digital life. The Caribbean remains the lens through which I connect these subjects.

Sometimes that will mean looking at a new tool. At other times, it will mean exploring how a business earns, how a creator reaches people or how work can travel across borders. Along the way, I also want to examine the everyday choices that technology makes possible.

You do not need to own a business to belong here. You might be a student, an employee, a creator or someone simply curious about change. My hope is that you leave with a useful idea, a clearer question or an option you had not considered.

Have something worth sharing? Pitch a Story

The Caribbean has people building, experimenting and finding their own ways forward. I want to hear about the work and the lessons behind it.

If you have a relevant experience, a business worth examining or a change people should understand, use Pitch a Story. Tell me what is happening, why it matters and what someone else could learn from it. A clear story can open a much wider conversation.

A founder-led beginning, with room to grow

For now, Digipreneur Network begins with my voice, perspective and work. This gives the platform a clear starting point as I bring its different parts together.

Over the longer term, I want a second phase to include expert contributors with practical experience and useful perspectives. That is a V2 ambition. Today, the focus is on building a strong home for the work and making it worth returning to.

Keep looking beyond the familiar

I do not think we ever finish learning how the world works. A place we visit, a person we meet or an idea we encounter can unsettle something we thought we understood. Sometimes that is where a new possibility begins.

The more I explore, the more questions I find worth asking. I want Digipreneur Network to hold that spirit: curious, open to change and rooted in a Caribbean perspective.

So I will keep exploring the world, paying attention to what changes how we see it, and documenting what is worth understanding.
