You don’t need every answer.
You need a next step.
This workshop helps you connect what is changing in the job market with who you are, what you enjoy and what you can realistically learn. It is for people building their first career, changing direction or helping someone else make a more informed choice.

Four shifts to understand
- AI and automation: routine tasks are being reshaped.
- Skills-first positioning: show what you can actually do.
- Emerging careers: explore AI, digital business, cybersecurity and other fields.
- Continuous learning: update your skills as the work evolves.
What to have ready
- An AI tool that can read both PDFs: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or DeepSeek, subject to its current limits.
- The two research reports below.
- A place to keep your answers and learning plan.
- The replay is 2 hours 20 minutes. Allow roughly 35–50 minutes for both exercises, plus time to reflect. Split it into sessions if helpful.
A Caribbean starting point. A global outlook.
Your options do not have to stop at your local job market. Digital skills can support overseas work or clients while you stay home, or become part of a location-independent life. Access still depends on the role, employer requirements and your skills.

First, watch the replay to understand the process. Explore why work is changing and which careers are emerging. Then see how AI can help you reflect and turn a career idea into a practical learning roadmap.
Watch, then work through the page.
The replay and the exercises belong together. You can pause, make notes and return to the next chapter. YouTube loads only when you press play.
Give AI better evidence.
Download both reports, then upload them into the same AI conversation before using Prompt One. These are the 2025 editions used in this workshop, preserved here so the exercises and replay stay aligned.

Discover your career matches.
Start with your interests, experience, strengths, goals and learning preferences. The first prompt asks 30 questions, one at a time, then recommends five career options ranked for further exploration.
Allow around 20–30 minutes, or longer for detailed answers. Use the same conversation where you uploaded both reports.

I want you to analyze the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report and the Coursera Jobs Skills Report 2025 to identify the most in-demand, emerging careers over the next 5–10 years. Here’s my situation: Jobs are disappearing fast due to AI, automation, and rapid tech advancement. I want to make sure I pivot into a field that’s actually growing — and not waste time, money, or energy on a path that’s becoming obsolete. I want this to be a guided process. Please interview me and ask me 30 questions, one by one, to get to know me deeply. These questions should help you learn about: • My interests and passions • My lifestyle and goals (ex: flexibility, remote work, travel, kids, age of kids, married) • Ask about my stage of life (Am I in school currently, Full Time Job, looking for career pivot, unemployed, etc) • My current skillset, strengths, and weaknesses • What I enjoy doing (even outside of work) • My educational background and financial flexibility (ex: short courses vs full degrees) Ask each question one at a time. Wait for my response before continuing to the next one. Once all 30 questions are completed, I want you to do the following: 1. Recommend 5 future-ready job titles that would best suit me based on my responses and the reports. 2. Rank the 5 jobs from #1 to #5, starting with the most ideal fit. 3. For each job, give me: • A short summary of what the job is • Why this role is growing in demand • Why it’s a good match for me based on my answers 4. Give me one bonus tip on how I can begin preparing for the top-ranked role (e.g. suggested course, platform, or micro-skill to start learning now) My goal is to walk away with clarity on what role fits me best, and a practical way to move forward confidently. Important: If I say I prefer short certifications, recommend career paths that match that. If I say I’m open to a full degree or hybrid learning, adjust accordingly. Make this guidance fit me.

Five options—not one final verdict.
- A ranked shortlist, from 1 to 5
- Your top match and four alternatives, based on your answers—not a generic list of fashionable jobs.
- A clear role summary
- What each job involves, the tasks you would perform and the skills it uses.
- Evidence and personal fit
- Why the reports suggest an opportunity, and how the role relates to your interests and experience.
- A practical first step
- A skill, course or project to investigate, starting with the top-ranked option.
You remain the decision-maker.
AI recommendations are starting points, not a professional assessment or a promise of employment. Ask it to distinguish report evidence from inference and to say when it is unsure. Check recommendations against real job descriptions.
Share only what you are comfortable sharing. You may skip personal questions or give broad answers. Do not upload identity documents, passwords or private employer information. Your AI conversation stays with the AI service you choose—not this workshop page.
Make the plan fit your life.
Five possible careers do not tell you which one is realistic today. Prompt Two adds 10 questions about your budget, time, learning preferences, resources and responsibilities, then narrows your options into a workable plan.
Keep the same AI conversation.
Your 30 answers, reports and five career recommendations should already be there. Do not start a new chat. Allow around 15–20 minutes and be realistic about what you can sustain.

Now that you’ve recommended 5 future-ready job titles for me, I want to make sure I choose the one that’s actually realistic based on my time, money, learning style, and life situation. Please ask me 10 questions, one by one, to understand my current resources and constraints before building a customized education/learning roadmap. Your job is to help me create a plan that’s: • Affordable based on my budget • Fits within my lifestyle and weekly time availability • Aligns with how I prefer to learn (self-paced vs guided) • Gives me practical ways to build experience in the field • And makes the transition feel doable — not overwhelming Ask me these 10 questions one at a time: 1. What is your total budget (if any) to invest in upskilling over the next 12 months? 2. How much time per week can you realistically dedicate to learning or training? 3. Are you more comfortable with self-paced learning, or do you need structure and accountability (ex: live classes, instructors, deadlines)? 4. Do you currently have access to a laptop, stable internet, and quiet space to study or work online? 5. Are you open to free or low-cost resources (ex: YouTube, Coursera, LinkedIn Learning), or do you prefer formal university or bootcamp-style programs? 6. Would you be open to volunteering, internships, or freelance projects to build experience if you can’t find paid work right away? 7. Do you have any personal responsibilities (ex: parenting, caregiving, full-time job) that might limit your availability or flexibility? 8. Are you open to remote jobs only, or would you also consider hybrid/in-person roles if they’re within reach? 9. Do you need your learning plan to be short-term (under 6 months), mid-term (6–18 months), or are you open to a longer journey (2+ years) if it leads to the right career? 10. Have you already started learning anything in the past that might transfer into one of the 5 roles you were matched with? Once you’ve asked and I’ve answered all 10 questions, please: 1. Review the 5 job options you gave me earlier. 2. Based on my answers, tell me which 1 or 2 jobs are the most feasible for me to pursue now. 3. Create a realistic learning roadmap for the best job, including: • Free and paid course options • Certification or training requirements • How to build a portfolio or hands-on experience • Recommended time frame • Suggested next steps for what I should do this week 4. Organize the roadmap into clear stages so I understand what I should learn first, what comes next, and when I should begin building practical experience. 5. Give me a realistic weekly action plan based on the amount of time I told you I have available. Break down what I should focus on each week so I can begin executing the roadmap instead of just reading it. My goal: I don’t just want to dream about a new career — I want to know exactly how to start based on my real-life situation. Give me clarity. Give me a path. Make it practical and affordable.

Choose a direction
Identify the one or two options that best fit your current resources.
Learn the foundations
Select courses that teach the skills the role actually needs.
Check credentials
Pursue certifications where required or genuinely useful.
Build a portfolio
Create a project that demonstrates your ability to apply the skills.
Gain experience
Practise through projects, freelancing, volunteering or internships.
Prepare to apply
Turn your work into a clear story and a realistic weekly action plan.
Check the roadmap before spending.
Verify course availability, current prices, prerequisites and recognition. Ask the AI to separate required qualifications from optional learning, include free alternatives, and state what you should do this week. A shorter, achievable plan is more useful than an impressive list you cannot follow.
Follow the roadmap.
Not the platform.
Choose the resource that best supports each skill in your plan. You do not need to use every platform—or collect certificates simply for the sake of having them.

Turn “I learned it” into
“Here’s what I’ve done.”
Learning gives you knowledge. Applying it gives you evidence. Choose one or two ways to practise that make sense for your career, then document what you did and what you learned.
Personal projects
Choose a realistic problem. Build a website, analyse a dataset, create a campaign, design a prototype or develop a solution.
A focused portfolio
Show the problem, your approach, what you created and the outcome. Make your contribution clear instead of only listing tools.
Freelancing
Start with a small, clearly scoped paid project that lets you use your skills to solve a real client problem.
Internships
Look for structured opportunities to learn from experienced professionals, understand workflows and practise in a workplace.
Volunteering
Support a nonprofit or community organisation with a specific project. Agree on scope, expectations and permission to share the work.
Content creation
Publish articles, tutorials, videos or project breakdowns that show both your knowledge and your ability to communicate.
Open-source contributions
Where relevant to your career, contribute to an existing project or publish your own work to demonstrate collaboration and problem-solving.
Make your new direction easy to understand.
Your résumé, LinkedIn profile, portfolio and public work should tell the same professional story. Explain what you do, who you help and the evidence behind your skills.
- Positioning: clarify what you want to be known for.
- Platforms: choose where employers or clients in your field look.
- Presence: make your strongest work easy to find.
- Visibility: share useful insights and build relevant professional connections.
Use clear résumé headings and truthful examples. Show transferable experience; do not claim qualifications or results you have not earned.
You’ve found a direction.
Now find the opportunity.
The Digital Careers Workshop helps you decide what to learn. Digipreneur Jobs helps you see where those skills can take you. Research roles as you learn, then return with a stronger portfolio and apply when you can demonstrate the skills an employer needs.
